After a rather tough play, PSS Tjitoedja's Rexy Sembiring got a free kick in the 5th minute. Hardy Pane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darius Sugendo having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Femi Subagdja notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Api's Darius Sugendo. Darius Sugendo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taufik Ramadhonna made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ichwan Waluyo. In the 17th minute Ichwan Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darius Sugendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lelo Guci kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Hardy Pane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PSS Tjitoedja getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rexy Sembiring hit a great ball. Candra Reza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kompos Febrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Api's Jakob Priyatno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kompos Febrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 26th minute Candra Reza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kompos Febrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Jakob Priyatno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kompos Febrian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 31st minute, Ichwan Waluyo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Darius Sugendo. The goal made the score 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ichwan Waluyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSS Tjitoedja's supporters rose to their feet, but Ichwan Waluyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darius Sugendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Rodrigues hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Api's goalkeeper Darius Sugendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ichwan Waluyo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the PSS Tjitoedja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ichwan Waluyo couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Lelo Guci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ichwan Waluyo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to PSS Tjitoedja getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rexy Sembiring hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Api's Candra Reza got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kompos Febrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Priyatno in the 62nd minute of play. If Andre Haryanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ichwan Waluyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulsky Guchi couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Jakob Priyatno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kompos Febrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kompos Febrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Priyatno, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kompos Febrian stood somewhat misplaced when Candra Reza came free in front of goal and shot 2-5 to the left of him in the 90 minute. In the 94th minute, Api's Jakob Priyatno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kompos Febrian. Kompos Febrian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Api walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
