The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Oğuz Belek during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Borneo Legacy got a freekick which was hit by Arif Oğuz Belek. A well-hit corner resulted in Gustaw Tylenda heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Takis Oikonomopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Tylenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gustaw Tylenda took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Takis Oikonomopoulos. Takis Oikonomopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute Gustaw Tylenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Oikonomopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alperen Kıncal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aurelian Groza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Tylenda in the 28th minute of play forced Borneo Legacy's goalkeeper Takis Oikonomopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's Gustaw Tylenda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Takis Oikonomopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Original Sabahan's Gustaw Tylenda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Takis Oikonomopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Original Sabahan's Egil Kilberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Original Sabahan from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Egil Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelian Groza. The Borneo Legacy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Original Sabahan were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaw Tylenda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yahya Kılıçaslan got free with Takis Oikonomopoulos in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yahya Kılıçaslan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Takis Oikonomopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecep Wijaya in the 96th minute of play forced Borneo Legacy's goalkeeper Takis Oikonomopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
