The audience thought a goal was coming when 秦鹰渊 got free with 毛伟泉 in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in 贵州红日队's zone, 陆镇益 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 孙银耀 came out of the goal and 陆镇益 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, 贵州红日队's 贺棋政 got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 23 played minutes 广东潮州快狗队 got a freekick which was hit by 康林翀. In the 28th match minute, 广东潮州快狗队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史迅荣 to maneuver through the defense. 陆镇益 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孙银耀 having to interfere. After 33 played minutes 广东潮州快狗队 got a freekick which was hit by 唐宇文. A collision led to 贵州红日队 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. 贺棋政 hit a great ball. 陆镇益 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 孙银耀 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 王益帆's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 唐宇文 struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. 孙银耀 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 广东潮州快狗队. 孙银耀 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆镇益, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 孙银耀 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 李延景 in the 45th minute of play. 陆镇益 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 陆镇益 made a kick off. 陆镇益 might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 孙银耀. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 陆镇益 ran back to his position shaking his head. 李延景 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but 孙银耀 made a huge save. The corner was taken by 崔迪竞 in the 98th minute. The corner ended in 崔迪竞 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 广东潮州快狗队's 毛伟泉 did a great save. The 贵州红日队 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
