The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrik Tham charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Tham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brutal DeLuxe's Henrik Tham got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Olle Jönsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brutal DeLuxe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Olle Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Olle Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Brutal DeLuxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Jönsson couldn't finish the play. If Olle Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olle Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rolf Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rolf Pihlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rune Bagge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Henrik Tham hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Olle Jönsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olle Jönsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brutal DeLuxe had won after a very even match.
