In the 9th match minute, 大长沙 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 吕夕博 to maneuver through the defense. 许克远 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 许志威 having to interfere. If 何渊昆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 大长沙's 林飞皓 got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, 大长沙's goal looked a bit too open when 许克远 came free, but 许志威 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 陈乐迪 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes 青海西宁麒麟联队 got a freekick which was hit by 周青川. If 魏威珂 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, 朱风延 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 青海西宁麒麟联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 朱风延 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 大长沙's zone, 许克远 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许志威 came out of the goal and 许克远 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 许志威 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 许克远 in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when 陈乐迪 made the kick off in the second half. 何渊昆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 许志威 having to interfere. The supporters of 青海西宁麒麟联队 booed when 大长沙 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. 石晨光 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 青海西宁麒麟联队's 苏霖常 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陈乐迪 in the 56th minute of play. 许克远 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 95thth minute of the game 魏威珂 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 青海西宁麒麟联队's 苏霖常 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
