Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Ivan Malmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adnan Kultigin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hallands Riviera's players had a chance to rest. Hallands Riviera's Adnan Kultigin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Andrade, made in the 9th minute of the game. Alex Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lance Carey during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Ivan Malmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 21st minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Hallands Riviera's Ivan Malmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Svanberg. Hallands Riviera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Svanberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hallands Riviera made a substitution. Olle Carlsson replaced Ivan Malmgren. A sloppy throw-in by Fabricio Andrade in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hallands Riviera's Rickard Björkman. In the 35th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Barreto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Martins got free with Wilson Amorim in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olle Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Svanberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Normando Carreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Normando Carreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Carreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Carlsson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Hallands Riviera were awarded a corner. Adnan Kultigin went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Erik Lingren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Alex Svanberg made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Daniel Pimentel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hallands Riviera's Alex Svanberg did a great save.
