A very good chance for a goal. 麦耀榕's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 唐庭延 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 唐庭延 was a little too slow when 麦耀榕 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match 曲庭骋 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 唐庭延 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, 香港黄大仙区蝎虎联队's goal looked a bit too open when 孟泉轩 came free, but 郭平飞 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 曲铮岩 hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in 香港黄大仙区蝎虎联队's zone, 孟泉轩 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 郭平飞 came out of the goal and 孟泉轩 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, 余森阳 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港黄大仙区蝎虎联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 余森阳 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 麦耀榕 might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 唐庭延. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 麦耀榕 ran back to his position shaking his head. 唐庭延 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 麦耀榕 in the 43rd minute of play. 郭平飞 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郭枫谦 in the 49th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
