The YYMYyema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Schuurman should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 柳笑竞 in the 32nd minute of play forced YYMYyema's goalkeeper Hans Schuurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, 叶岩伟 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 邱凌崇 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 曾义阳's late challenge caught a Europe China's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
