After a rather tough play, 四川达州兽人队's 孟泉庭 got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 36th minute, 庄俊振 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陆城剑 in the 38th minute of play forced 四川达州兽人队's goalkeeper 汪震彬 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 陆城剑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪震彬 having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 邱青扬 was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes CAXY got a freekick which was hit by 方帆森. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, 陆城剑 managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAXY's supporters rose to their feet, but 陆城剑 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 汪震彬 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 庄俊振 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪震彬 having to interfere. With an all-out effort, CAXY's 汪震彬 threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 方帆森, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in 四川达州兽人队's zone, 庄俊振 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 汪震彬 came out of the goal and 庄俊振 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 白风镇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邱青扬, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 庄俊振 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪震彬 having to interfere. 庄俊振s short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got 汪震彬 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. CAXY were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
