Olav Graversen made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Esenyurt's Arif Gaffar Rıfkı. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melik Olgun in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıkan İrem was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to Esenyurt getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Faruk Başkur hit a great ball. The wind increased when Alptuğ Ulusu made the kick off in the second half. Alptuğ Ulusu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alptuğ Ulusu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when Esenyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Ulusu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark played a much better game than Esenyurt and deserved their victory. The Esenyurt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
