With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when José Paulo Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute Kauã Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Mendonça. After 15 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Michel de Queirós. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Mendonça. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Mello went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Retumbante FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when José Paulo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Décio Antonio scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 3-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauã Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute José Paulo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Mandrak in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The audience was convinced that José Paulo Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Apat Reina was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chris Mergenthaler. In the 72nd minute José Paulo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Retumbante FC's Fabinho Bittencourt was substituted for Kauã Mandrak. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Apat Reina got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Retumbante FC's José Paulo Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If José Paulo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 94th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Fabinho Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Retumbante FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
