The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's Gökmen Koral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 7th minute of play. David Eikelkamp made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's Gökmen Koral managed to reach the ball for a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gökmen Koral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökmen Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play forced ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's goalkeeper Gökmen Koral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Penczkowski in the 33rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aydin Yanchovski hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. Aydin Yanchovski struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ. Uğurcan Çağaçar charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uğurcan Çağaçar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğurcan Çağaçar to maneuver through the defense. Gökmen Koral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Gökmen Koral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Gökmen Koral however easily saved by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's goalkeeper Gökmen Koral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gökmen Koral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ made a substitution. Alphan Sıraç replaced Uğurcan Çağaçar. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şemsettin Geylanoğullarından in the 69th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Cyprian Penczkowski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kudret Şerif hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired a really elegant long shot, but Gökmen Koral threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphan Sıraç, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gökmen Koral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but ᴀɴᴛɪᴏᴄʜᴠs ғ•ᴄ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
