With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vavrinec Holub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alan Rezek made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dalimil Charvat however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Turecek during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Valdemar Turecek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Görkem Seyban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Erik Jilek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but beşiktaş A.Ş.'s Ferit Geylan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ziya Onur Şirvan charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziya Onur Şirvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. beşiktaş A.Ş. fully deserved thier win.
