The audience thought a goal was coming when 俞皓渊 got free with 魏邦朋 in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 钱霆勇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 许珂彬 in the 18th minute of the match. 俞皓渊 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. 魏邦朋 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, 莫霖克 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 海之风's supporters rose to their feet, but 莫霖克 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 魏邦朋 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 俞皓渊 to strike the kick off in the second half. If 俞皓渊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fleming Leach kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, 莫霖克 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 海之风 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 莫霖克 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. 魏邦朋 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. If 莫霖克 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the 海之风 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
