Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 16th match minute, Team North Invest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elliot Wallengren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. After having played for 30 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alf Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Holmberg in the 34th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Holmberg in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Nils-Åke Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elliot Wallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Simon Bendtsen charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Bendtsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Team North Invest's Anders Pettersson was substituted for Birger Forssberg. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Elliot Wallengren made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Team North Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Elliot Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. After a rather tough play, Team North Invest's Jens-Erik Lundin got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Gallin in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Simon Bendtsen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Team North Invest:s goal. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Team North Invest. Oliver Myr stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keld Paulsen. 1-0. 79 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Lindmark came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jens Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Team North Invest's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Wallengren came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olav Graversen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Wallengren having to interfere. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Elliot Wallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Team North Invest had won, even though Denmark had held more of the ball.
