Reis İşkembeci hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Tevfik İlksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Diriliş Trabzonspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denmark:s goal. Diriliş Trabzonspor:s Ergin Tüzel showed great skill when he stopped Chris Nygaard:s penalty. The supporters of Denmark booed when Diriliş Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reis İşkembeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ergin Tüzel. Ergin Tüzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes, Şakir Babayiğit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diriliş Trabzonspor and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şakir Babayiğit hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28th play minutes Chris Nygaard shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ergin Tüzel and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Diriliş Trabzonspor's Şakir Babayiğit got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Şakir Babayiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes, Ahmet Seyfi Yücel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diriliş Trabzonspor and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ergin Tüzel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Şakir Babayiğit made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ergin Tüzel was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergin Tüzel saved Diriliş Trabzonspor from getting behind. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ergin Tüzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Bahtiyar Uğurel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diriliş Trabzonspor and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bahtiyar Uğurel made a great header on Diriliş Trabzonspor's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. After 97 played minutes Diriliş Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Babayiğit. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diriliş Trabzonspor.
