After 13 minutes of play, 吴江鑫缆's 麦德挺 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 何瑜宁 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 吴江鑫缆's 庄振森 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 方誉竞 in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of 吴江鑫缆 booed when 沙迦足球俱乐部 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. 韩战凡 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by 莫国震 got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as 沙迦足球俱乐部's 方誉竞 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 庄振森. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 62nd minute, 龙雄冰 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 庄振森 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙雄冰 in the 66th minute of play forced 吴江鑫缆's goalkeeper 庄振森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, 莫国震 made a precise shot to the right of 庄振森. 吴江鑫缆's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 庄振森 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫国震, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 庄振森 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龙雄冰 in the 72nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 沙迦足球俱乐部 fans cheered their team off the field, for while 吴江鑫缆 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
