In the 17th minute of the match, 潘川景 got a very nice opportunity to score, but 贺亮天 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 曲沙远 might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 彭棋斐. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 曲沙远 ran back to his position shaking his head. 台湾省台北天蝎代表队's 彭棋斐 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲沙远 in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, 三墩青年人's goalkeeper 贺亮天 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 潘川景. 贺亮天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 温潮烨, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, 三墩青年人's 贺亮天 got control of the ball when 潘川景 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 郝南风 fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 三墩青年人's protests and gave 郝南风 a yellow card for diving instead. 郝南风 hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温潮烨 in the 36th minute of play forced 三墩青年人's goalkeeper 贺亮天 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, 温潮烨 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 贺亮天, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of 彭棋斐, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 87 minutes into the match, 三墩青年人's goal looked a bit too open when 潘川景 came free, but 贺亮天 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 郝南风 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. 三墩青年人's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 贺亮天 came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by 台湾省台北天蝎代表队's 潘川景. But to his dismay, 潘川景 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. 台湾省台北天蝎代表队 were victorious despite being under pressure from 三墩青年人 for much of the match.
