But to his dismay, 龚翔 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, 乔斐振 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. 曲威鸿 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 李扬榕 struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. 曲威鸿 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 足球湘军. In the 21st match minute, 足球湘军 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龚翔 to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, 严默谦 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 苏昂云. 足球湘军's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 严默谦 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 曲威鸿 stood somewhat misplaced when 李扬榕 came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 26 minute. After a rather tough play, 温州雅登's 吴城翔 got a free kick in the 35th minute. With splendid footwork 乔斐振 arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-2 by the left pole in the game's 44th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, 乔斐振 got a very nice opportunity to score, but 曲威鸿 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 李扬榕 made a kick off. If 乔斐振 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 57 minutes, 肖翀昆 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 温州雅登 and the 足球湘军 players grew even worse after the yellow card. When 乔斐振 came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the 足球湘军 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 乔斐振 couldn't finish the play. If 乔斐振 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 曲威鸿 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 陈剑俊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, 足球湘军's 赵傲彬 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 曲威鸿 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 严默谦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes 温州雅登 got a freekick which was hit by 洪宽挺. 沈朗斌 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 曲威鸿. 温州雅登's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If 乔斐振 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes 足球湘军 got a freekick which was hit by 杨宽宽. 赵傲彬 kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 李扬榕 might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 曲威鸿. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 李扬榕 ran back to his position shaking his head. 李扬榕 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The 足球湘军 fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when 足球湘军's 李扬榕 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute 李扬榕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曲威鸿 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 苏昂云 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 肖翀昆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the 足球湘军 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
