In the 18th minute 尤志凡 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 赵扬德 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, 河南南阳罗刹队's goalkeeper 梅渊乐 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 方青树. After having played for 20 minutes, 楚朗坤 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 金花FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 楚朗坤 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 河南南阳罗刹队's zone, 梅亮勇 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 梅渊乐 came out of the goal and 梅亮勇 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 倪星远 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but 梅渊乐 made a huge save. In the 26th minute, 黄国建 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 金花FC's 方青树 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 31st minute, 倪星远 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to 金花FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. 贺烨益 hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, 柳凌辰 made a precise shot to the right of 赵扬德. 金花FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, 河南南阳罗刹队's 孔迅雄 got a free kick in the 39th minute. If 倪星远 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 金花FC defense, 苏霖义 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 赵扬德. The 金花FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 赵扬德 should have stopped the shot. After the first half 河南南阳罗刹队 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 方青树 was the one to do the kick off. The 金花FC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when 金花FC's 方青树 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 倪星远 couldn't finish the play. 梅渊乐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 楚朗坤 in the 57th minute of play. 梅亮勇 struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. 梅渊乐 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When 梅亮勇 fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 金花FC's protests and gave 梅亮勇 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, 金花FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 梅亮勇 to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match 孔迅雄 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 赵扬德 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the 金花FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
