In the 14th minute, 孙亮烨 made a precise shot to the right of 彭青骋. 中国龙之队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余昂笑 in the 18th minute of play forced Denis Weatherhead's goalkeeper 狄远翀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 彭青骋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孙亮烨 in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, 范洲伟 put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 彭青骋. Denis Weatherhead's 狄远翀 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柯振志 in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 范洲伟 in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 彭青骋 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 孙亮烨 struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. 彭青骋 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denis Weatherhead. 彭青骋 came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Denis Weatherhead's 姚骏洋. But to his dismay, 姚骏洋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the 中国龙之队 defense, 范洲伟 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 彭青骋. The 中国龙之队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 彭青骋 should have stopped the shot. 彭青骋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孙亮烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, 中国龙之队's goal looked a bit too open when 孙亮烨 came free, but 彭青骋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Denis Weatherhead were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 范洲伟 made a kick off. In the 51st minute, 余昂笑 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孙亮烨 in the 54th minute of play forced 中国龙之队's goalkeeper 彭青骋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 范洲伟 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 彭青骋 came out and tried to block the shot, but 范洲伟 slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. 庄亦镇 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, 孙亮烨 took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for 彭青骋 to make any attempt to save it. 余昂笑's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 狄远翀 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 彭青骋 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 范洲伟 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 71 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 范洲伟 in the 75th minute of play forced 中国龙之队's goalkeeper 彭青骋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 彭青骋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 胡延勇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Denis Weatherhead's 范洲伟 made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 彭青骋 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 中国龙之队's 彭青骋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save 中国龙之队 from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, 中国龙之队's goal looked a bit too open when 孙亮烨 came free, but 彭青骋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 姚骏洋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Denis Weatherhead could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 中国龙之队 throughout the match.
