The crowd rose to their feet as JIANGSU FC's Raimundo do Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ethan Pearce. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Ethan Pearce made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Raimundo do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
