A collision led to Marlow getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. 김 황 hit a great ball. 김 용 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 박 유, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 김 황 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marlow's 박 묘 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Marlow from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, 김 황 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 김 황 got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 30th minute, 김 황 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 김 옥 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as 이 송 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 박 묘. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 최 누 got free with 박 묘 in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 이 송 made a kick off. 이 송 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed 박 유 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 최 누 kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 박 묘 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 이 송's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 김 용 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 최 윤 in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute 이 송 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 박 묘 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 91st minute of the match 박 유 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 박 유 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Marlow got a freekick which was hit by 박 유. After some careless play in the Marlow defense, 이 송 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 박 묘. The Marlow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 박 묘 should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gwangju Futsal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marlow had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
