The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Durham AFC. After 8th play minutes 강 영 shot 1-0, a short shot which went by 김 배 and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 11 minutes, 김 삼 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 제주 유나이티드 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 삼 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 유 경 got free with 김 배 in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 김 삼 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 삼 in the 16th minute of play forced Durham AFC's goalkeeper 김 배 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when 유 애 put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Durham AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 제주 유나이티드 FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 강 영 in the 25th minute of play forced Durham AFC's goalkeeper 김 배 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 김 삼 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but 김 배 made a huge save. When 유 경, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The 김 배 was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 조 추 hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 제주 유나이티드 FC's 김 삼 got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg 김 배 managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when 제주 유나이티드 FC's 유 경 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When 유 경 came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the 제주 유나이티드 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 유 경 couldn't finish the play. When 조 추 fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durham AFC's protests and gave 조 추 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 제주 유나이티드 FC booed when Durham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. 조 추 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Durham AFC's 김 배 got control of the ball when 학 창 tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Durham AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. 조 추 hit a great ball. 김 염 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. 김 평 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 배 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 강 영, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 김 염 made the kick off in the second half. 김 삼 struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. 김 배 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 제주 유나이티드 FC. 제주 유나이티드 FC's 강 영 got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, 유 경 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 제주 유나이티드 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 유 경 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 김 교 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 유 경 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 배 having to interfere. 김 염s short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got 김 평 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that 강 영's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 김 배 was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 김 노 charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 김 노 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the game, one of 제주 유나이티드 FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 84 minutes into the game, Durham AFC's 박 경 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 김 평 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 조 추 kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 유 경 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. 김 배 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, 김 삼 notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Durham AFC's 김 배. 김 배 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the 제주 유나이티드 FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
