A very good chance. 김 좌 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 배 having to interfere. 박 루's late challenge caught a Shark Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 박 루 helped the player get up and apologised. 김 배 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 좌 in the 17th minute of play. 김 황 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 배 having to interfere. If 정 하 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shark Football Club's 김 환 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Shark Football Club from getting a goal against them. 호 천 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 김 염 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but 김 환 made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, 박 경 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durham AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shark Football Club the free kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 정 하 was the one to do the kick off. 김 염 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. 김 환 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 환 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 염 in the 60th minute of the match. The tension between the Shark Football Club and the Durham AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Durham AFC booed when Shark Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 요 didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Durham AFC's 호 천 in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 김 염 struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. 김 환 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham AFC. If 김 염 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 이 후 fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shark Football Club's protests and gave 이 후 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Shark Football Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 이 후 hit a great ball. 김 환 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 염, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
