An unexpectedly hard shot by 박 원 in the 18th minute of play forced Bomi Fc's goalkeeper 박 진 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 박 원's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 박 진 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If 박 원 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Bomi Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 김 지 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute, 박 원 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 복 to make the kick off. 이 모's late challenge caught a Bomi Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. When 박 원 came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kenilworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 박 원 couldn't finish the play. 김 복 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 강전 이 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 현 charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 김 현 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bomi Fc getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. 김 현 hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, 박 원 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 김 지 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bomi Fc's goalkeeper 박 진, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenilworth were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bomi Fc to leave the ground with a draw.
