After 20 played minutes Stamford Bridge got a freekick which was hit by 박 우. 유 허 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 박 우 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 유 유 having to interfere. 유 유 made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when 유 허 sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Formby AFC's zone, 유 허 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 유 유 came out of the goal and 유 허 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, 김 제갈 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stamford Bridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 제갈 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 유 허 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 유 유 having to interfere. 박 우 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, 유 허 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stamford Bridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A very good chance. When 유 허 came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Stamford Bridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 유 허 couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, 김 예 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 김 빙. The goal made the score 2-3. 76 minutes into the match, Stamford Bridge's goal looked a bit too open when 김 영 came free, but 김 빙 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Stamford Bridge's goal looked a bit too open when 김 예 came free, but 김 빙 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 유 허 might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 유 유. Stamford Bridge's 김 빙 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 영 in the 97th minute of play.
