Sidmouth City's supporters rose to their feet, but 이 수 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 김 고 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When 김 애 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. 김 애 kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Sidmouth City's goal looked a bit too open when 정 채 came free, but 최 심 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, 김 누 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skipsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 누 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, 김 누 made a precise shot to the right of 최 심. Sidmouth City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 강 부 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. 최 심 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Sidmouth City's 이 수 made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 김 고 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidmouth City's 이 수 got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

최 심 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 누 in the 53rd minute of play. 김 누 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 최 심 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 강 부 kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute 강 연 suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 김 환 struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. 최 심 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidmouth City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when 김 애 scored to the left of an out of position 최 심, making the score, 1-3. 강 부 might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 최 심. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 강 부 ran back to his position shaking his head. Skipsea's 강 부 got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
