After a rather tough play, Ingatestone AFC's 김 진 got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ingatestone AFC's 박 한 got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, 김 남 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. 이 동방 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If 김 남 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 김 심 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but 김 남궁 made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The shot was stopped by 이 동방 but with some difficulty. 이 석s short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got 이 동방 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd of the match, 김 남 tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but 이 동방 got in the way and made a wonderful save. 86 minutes into the match, 김 남 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 이 동방, 1-2. 이 석 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 92 minutes into the game, 김 진 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ingatestone AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St Neots AFC the free kick. The supporters of St Neots AFC booed when Ingatestone AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 진 didn't get a good kick on the ball.
