The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 애 got free with 김 아 in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves 김 애 could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which 김 아 however easily saved by the left post. 김 수 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 아 having to make a save. 김 아 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 김 애 in the 39th minute. 김 아 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 수 in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Eltham's 김 수 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 김 아 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 수 in the 46th minute of play forced Kidmore End's goalkeeper 김 아 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, 박 은 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 가 유. Eltham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 박 은 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
