Tharathorn Keaosiwai kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 김 현 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 김 변. The crowd rose to their feet as Daejeon United's Marco Millrick slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 김 현. That made the score 5-0 after 28 minutes of play. 김 현 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 채, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's goal looked a bit too open when 박 명 came free, but 김 현 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Bonggo Munggaran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 김 현 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jesse Barrientos took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for 김 현 to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute 정 점 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 현 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 김 현 was a little too slow when 정 점 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 7-0. 김 연 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 조 이 went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Millrick was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 정 점 in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 김 현 saved Stonehouse from getting behind.
