Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Millrick started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, 김 왕 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 박 동 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Freshwater's goal looked a bit too open when Jesse Barrientos came free, but 박 동 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, 김 왕 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daejeon United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 10 played minutes Daejeon United got a freekick which was hit by 김 변. 박 동 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 정 점 went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Freshwater's goal looked a bit too open when 정 점 came free, but 박 동 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Freshwater's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 김 변 was slow to take the kick. During this time Daejeon United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Daejeon United's Jesse Barrientos to a score. 0-4 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 왕 in the 21st minute of play forced Freshwater's goalkeeper 박 동 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Daejeon United's Marco Millrick made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 박 동 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 박 동 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Millrick went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the game, 김 변 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. 박 동 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 김 왕 struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. 박 동 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daejeon United. 박 동 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Barrientos in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Daejeon United's 정 점 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 박 동 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Marco Millrick took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 박 동. 박 동 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 정 점 to strike the kick off in the second half. Freshwater's 박 동 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 정 점 in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, 김 변 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 박 동 was a little too slow when 정 점 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-10. Marco Millrick succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 왕 in the 64th minute of play forced Freshwater's goalkeeper 박 동 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 이 남 charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 이 남 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Freshwater getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. 이 남 hit a great ball. In the 69th minute 정 점 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 박 동 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 박 동 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 박 동 came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Daejeon United's Marco Millrick. But to his dismay, Marco Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 박 동 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 왕, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Freshwater's goal looked a bit too open when 김 왕 came free, but 박 동 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Daejeon United's 박 명 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. Marco Millrick succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-15 in the 83rd playminute. 박 동 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Barrientos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 박 동 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enol Diez in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Jesse Barrientos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 박 동 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17.
