To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cleator Moor's goal looked a bit too open when 박 궉 came free, but 김 육 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 김 온 might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 김 육. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 김 온 ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 김 현 was the one to do the kick off. 박 궉 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 육 having to interfere. Cleator Moor's 김 육 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cleator Moor from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, Vancouver Whitecaps's 박 궉 made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 김 육 was left in no man's land by his defense there!
