In the 15th minute 김 노 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenguer Martijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berenguer Martijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 노 in the 22nd minute of the match. Berenguer Martijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 호, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Lichfield got a freekick which was hit by 김 소봉. After 29 minutes, 김 소봉 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lichfield and the Kettering players grew even worse after the yellow card. 김 소봉 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Kettering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 이 남 to maneuver through the defense. Berenguer Martijana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 노's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kettering were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Lichfield's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 김 노 took the corner. 김 호 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 김 안 kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Lichfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kettering:s goal. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Kettering's 김 노 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Berenguer Martijana. In the 88th match minute, Kettering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 박 팽 to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Lichfield's goal looked a bit too open when 김 노 came free, but Berenguer Martijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 김 노 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Berenguer Martijana made a huge save. The Lichfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kettering were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
