The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, 김 연 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Seul FC's Zheng Feng Yong. Seul FC's Zheng Feng Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Seul FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Seul FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. 김 제 hit a great ball. Zheng Feng Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 연, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seul FC's Zheng Feng Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 돈 in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Seul FC got a freekick which was hit by 김 육. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zheng Feng Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 돈 in the 53rd minute of play. Zheng Feng Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 갈, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 김 돈 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
