Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hivesville's Barney Dollymore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ed Bundy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Barnabas Odonahoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everett Barling hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Marco Turnor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbott Gledden having to interfere. Abbott Gledden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barney Dollymore went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Gobur's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Turnor came free, but Abbott Gledden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abbott Gledden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Dollymore in the 22nd minute of play. Barney Dollymore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barney Dollymore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Dollymore in the 30th minute of play forced Gobur's goalkeeper Abbott Gledden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barney Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gobur's goalkeeper Abbott Gledden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Irving Laycock hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Gobur's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Dollymore came free, but Abbott Gledden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Marco Turnor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Gledden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Wharton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Abbott Gledden managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Hivesville's Marco Turnor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Barney Dollymore might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abbott Gledden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barney Dollymore ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57thth minute of the game Marco Turnor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gobur's Abbott Gledden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abbott Gledden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Dollymore, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Barney Dollymore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbott Gledden having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Edwardo Weatherby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abbott Gledden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Marco Turnor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Gobur's Abbott Gledden got control of the ball when Marco Turnor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Turnor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Abbott Gledden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abbott Gledden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Dollymore in the 75th minute of play. Abbott Gledden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Stanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Barney Dollymore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbott Gledden having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Barney Dollymore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gobur's Abbott Gledden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Turnor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abbott Gledden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Stanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Marco Turnor suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irving Laycock during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Gobur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hivesville:s goal. Gobur's Abbott Gledden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Dollymore in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Hivesville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gobur.
