Sam Maybury tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Clay Haydock. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 16th minute. A collision led to Cowaramup getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sam Mcjunkin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bungasaaree's Neale Death got control of the ball when Anthony Claringbold tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Iggy Muncaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Laurence Millar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bungasaaree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurence Millar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neale Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munroe Oneill, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamese Anders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Claringbold in the 51st minute of play forced Bungasaaree's goalkeeper Neale Death to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Munroe Oneill put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Neale Death. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iggy Muncaster got free with Clay Haydock in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jason Biddell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Neale Death. 3-1. Clay Haydock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iggy Muncaster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 66 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bungasaaree's zone, Bradshaw Warhurst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neale Death came out of the goal and Bradshaw Warhurst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
