The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Keppoch FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mywybilla:s goal. The referee gave Mywybilla a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carl Clubley, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Keppoch FC's Edmundson Greenbank. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quincy Christina during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute Porter Minter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundson Greenbank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Donovan Haydock notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mywybilla's Long Argoud. Long Argoud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Caine Swan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Brown Pinhey from a close distance when the talented Long Argoud managed to make a qualified save. Mywybilla's players were relieved. 28 minutes into the match, Keppoch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Porter Minter came free, but Edmundson Greenbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Edwardo Kerville ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundson Greenbank was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Edmundson Buckland tried in the 36th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Long Argoud a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-2. A collision led to Keppoch FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hale Ross hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Carl Clubley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmundson Greenbank showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mywybilla's Long Argoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Pinhey in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwardo Kerville in the 45th minute of play forced Keppoch FC's goalkeeper Edmundson Greenbank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Keppoch FC's zone, Edwardo Kerville stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundson Greenbank came out of the goal and Edwardo Kerville tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 minutes of play, Mywybilla's Andres Cochrane made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundson Greenbank was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Brown Pinhey made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Keppoch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Porter Minter came free, but Edmundson Greenbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennett Rose's late challenge caught a Keppoch FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bennett Rose helped the player get up and apologised. Keppoch FC made a substitution. Edgar Groves replaced Barry Schultz. In the 61st minute, Bennett Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quincy Christina missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 62 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Long Argoud right hand side. 66 minutes into the game, Edwardo Kerville cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Edmundson Greenbank was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mywybilla's Bennett Rose suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Edgar Groves fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keppoch FC's protests and gave Edgar Groves a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Keppoch FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Groves. After 77 played minutes Mywybilla got a freekick which was hit by Edmundson Buckland. The supporters of Keppoch FC booed when Mywybilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porter Minter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Keppoch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caine Swan to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Edwardo Kerville made a precise shot to the right of Edmundson Greenbank. Keppoch FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Keppoch FC's Edmundson Greenbank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Keppoch FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Mywybilla left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Keppoch FC.
