An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Mcmillan in the 10th minute of play forced Teddywaddi's goalkeeper Nicholas Gwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duke Quinn came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Teddywaddi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duke Quinn couldn't finish the play. Howard Lawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Caddick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Gwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyce Ziliotto in the 19th minute of play. When Case Jeavons fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teddywaddi's protests and gave Case Jeavons a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Teddywaddi got a freekick which was hit by Case Jeavons. Jonathan Caddick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duke Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Duke Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Caddick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddywaddi's Duke Quinn got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcolm Markou's late challenge caught a Mannibadar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Markou helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute Brett Mcmillan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Gwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Howard Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brett Mcmillan was the one to do the kick off. The coaching staff of Mannibadar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Angus Watson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dalwood Deal's late challenge caught a Mannibadar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalwood Deal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Teddywaddi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalwood Deal to maneuver through the defense. Adam Reisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Duke Quinn might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Caddick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duke Quinn ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Howard Lawson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Caddick. Mannibadar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jonathan Caddick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duke Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
