Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jessop Fulton got the match started through his kick off. Howard Lawson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Cliff Wittber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teddywaddi. Duke Quinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cliff Wittber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Stanley Vickery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macksville and the Teddywaddi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Macksville getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stanley Vickery hit a great ball. Nicholas Gwin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jessop Fulton's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bran Saisell got free with Nicholas Gwin in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Case Jeavons hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Bran Saisell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Case Jeavons kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Howard Lawson in the 25th minute of play forced Macksville's goalkeeper Cliff Wittber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Macksville's Stanley Vickery got a free kick in the 25th minute. Duke Quinn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Wittber having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Jessop Fulton rounded Teddywaddi's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Cliff Wittber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duke Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Boyd Smalley fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teddywaddi's protests and gave Boyd Smalley a yellow card for diving instead. Boyd Smalley hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Cliff Wittber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Howard Lawson went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duke Quinn to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Macksville booed when Teddywaddi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Rishton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Teddywaddi defense, Bran Saisell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicholas Gwin. The Teddywaddi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Gwin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Teddywaddi getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Case Jeavons hit a great ball. Carleton Quinane kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Dalwood Deal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teddywaddi and the Macksville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Teddywaddi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalwood Deal to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Bran Saisell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Macksville's Bran Saisell got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duke Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cliff Wittber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Howard Lawson in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Teddywaddi booed when Macksville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duke Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Duke Quinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cliff Wittber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duke Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Duke Quinn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cliff Wittber, 2-2. If Bran Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes in the game, Duke Quinn fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cliff Wittber having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Macksville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessop Fulton to maneuver through the defense. Nicholas Gwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bran Saisell in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
