Mannibadar's Jonathan Caddick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Mannibadar from getting a goal against them. Cliff Wittber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Mcmillan in the 15th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Brett Mcmillan sped through Macksville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cliff Wittber. After a rather tough play, Mannibadar's Roger Mcgregor got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Alberto Beverley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Caddick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Adam Reisz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Mannibadar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Reisz couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Mannibadar's Brett Mcmillan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cliff Wittber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 31 minutes, Bran Saisell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bran Saisell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jessop Fulton put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Caddick. Adam Reisz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cliff Wittber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Caddick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macksville. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jessop Fulton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macksville's supporters rose to their feet, but Jessop Fulton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Caddick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mannibadar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mannibadar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
