Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Earnest Mccartan started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Cassidy Limmer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Earnest Mccartan fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sydney Football Club's protests and gave Earnest Mccartan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sydney Football Club getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Earnest Mccartan hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sydney Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! If Dwight Barker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Dwight Barker notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sydney Football Club's Cassidy Limmer. Cassidy Limmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Ryan Sennett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Sydney Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Sennett. In the 38th minute Brockman Stockwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Markwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Sydney Football Club were awarded a corner. Marshal Mcgirr went to the cornerflag to take it. Ryan Sennett came free in the 43rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Ollie Markwell, but to the joy of Devils Angel's supporters the ball went over. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Laing made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sydney Football Club's Brockman Stockwin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ryan Sennett kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ollie Markwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brockman Stockwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ollie Markwell came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney Football Club's Earnest Mccartan. But to his dismay, Earnest Mccartan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Sydney Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Barker came free, but Cassidy Limmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Earnest Mccartan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Markwell having to interfere. Edgar Monson scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ollie Markwell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Devils Angel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ryan Sennett fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brockman Stockwin in the 83rd minute of play forced Devils Angel's goalkeeper Ollie Markwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney Football Club were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Devils Angel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marshal Mcgirr took the corner. Antonio Hopkins tried in the 85th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ollie Markwell a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-4. Ryan Sennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ollie Markwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
