After 11 played minutes Wallaroo got a freekick which was hit by Aden Connell. In the 13th match minute, Glenloth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandes Collings to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Glenloth's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Laing came free, but Neale Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Vaughan came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rick Paynter could save by the left post. Glenloth's Neale Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Laing in the 20th minute of play. If Tom Nobes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Brandes Collings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Vaughans short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Rick Paynter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tom Nobes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Paynter having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wallaroo defense, Henry Vaughan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rick Paynter. The Wallaroo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rick Paynter should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Henry Vaughan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rick Paynter. Henry Vaughan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Corey Anders made the kick off in the second half. Alvin Laing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neale Tucknott having to interfere. Aden Connell's late challenge caught a Glenloth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aden Connell helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wallaroo's Aden Connell got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Edward Jackson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rick Paynter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Laing got free with Neale Tucknott in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Glenloth's goal looked a bit too open when Aden Connell came free, but Neale Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Glenloth's Neale Tucknott got control of the ball when Alvin Laing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jemmett Conlin's late challenge caught a Wallaroo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neale Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corey Anders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenloth's Tom Nobes got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Henry Vaughan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rick Paynter was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Henry Vaughan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Paynter having to make a save. Henry Vaughan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rick Paynter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Corey Anders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallaroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corey Anders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Glenloth's Henry Vaughan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Wallaroo's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Vaughan came free, but Rick Paynter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Corey Anders recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Neale Tucknott. Corey Anders showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. There was no doubt that Glenloth were the better team. Glenloth's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
