With an all-out effort, Pata's Darren Flesfadar threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierre Haslett, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Brooker Triplett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 16 in the game by Quade Macumber from a close distance when the talented Darren Flesfadar managed to make a qualified save. Warburto's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Brooker Triplett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Rear was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Barnett Minne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Brooker Triplett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warburto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooker Triplett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alvin Duncan fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pata's protests and gave Alvin Duncan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Pata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Duncan to maneuver through the defense. Brooker Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Michael Rear tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pata's zone, Barnett Minne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Rear came out of the goal and Barnett Minne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Norden in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Rear prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvin Duncan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes in the game, Pierre Haslett fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Darren Flesfadar having to interfere. Darren Flesfadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Haslett, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Laurence Norden struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Michael Rear didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warburto. Brooker Triplett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Rear having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pata's Michael Rear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brooker Triplett in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes Brooker Triplett rounded Pata's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Darren Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Haslett in the 60th minute of play. Warburto's Barnett Minne got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Warburto got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Kile. In the 68th minute, Murdock Groves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Laurence Norden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warburto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurence Norden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Pata's goalkeeper Michael Rear had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurence Norden. After 74 played minutes Warburto got a freekick which was hit by Dane Knaack. In the 76th minute of the match Hale Kile shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darren Flesfadar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darren Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Haslett in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Warburto's Edgar Pinhey got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Quade Macumber fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pata's protests and gave Quade Macumber a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Warburto booed when Pata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quade Macumber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Pata defense, Laurence Norden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Rear. The Pata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Rear should have stopped the shot. Warburto's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
