The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brooker Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Brennan Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duncan Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brennan Czaczka was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Brooker Mudie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brooker Mudie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duncan Pears got free with Brennan Czaczka in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ranford getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Loud Sibbold hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Roy Royans put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ranford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Brooker Mudie might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brennan Czaczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brooker Mudie ran back to his position shaking his head. Brooker Mudies short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Brennan Czaczka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Loud Sibbold charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loud Sibbold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Loud Sibbold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brooker Mudie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ranford getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kelvin Mcinnes hit a great ball. If Brooker Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Barker kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnard Lunt made a kick off. The supporters of Ranford booed when Hahndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaffery Wal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Duncan Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brennan Czaczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brooker Mudie scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brennan Czaczka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Brooker Mudie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brennan Czaczka was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Brooker Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Brennan Czaczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Brooker Mudie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Brooker Mudie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brennan Czaczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duncan Pears might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brennan Czaczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duncan Pears ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Pears in the 84th minute of play forced Ranford's goalkeeper Brennan Czaczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brooker Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes, Brooker Mudie made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ranford's Brennan Czaczka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooker Mudie in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brennan Czaczka saved Ranford from getting behind.
