The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Fortington during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cullerin booed when F.C.Ailsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Fortington didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zackery Munday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, F.C.Ailsa's Zackery Munday nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryan Staggard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. F.C.Ailsa's Byrne Tauschke got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zackery Munday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ren Petersen's late challenge caught a F.C.Ailsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ren Petersen helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Cullerin got a freekick which was hit by Ren Petersen. Byrne Tauschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of F.C.Ailsa booed when Cullerin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niles Kurth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zackery Munday blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryan Staggard having to make a save. Byrne Tauschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ryan Staggard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Cullerin's Ryan Staggard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Hines in the 60th minute of play. Tony Hines took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryan Staggard. Ryan Staggard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. F.C.Ailsa's Zackery Munday got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Byrne Tauschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Ailsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Byrne Tauschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Staggard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cullerin booed when F.C.Ailsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byrne Tauschke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zackery Munday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cullerin's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Fortington came free, but Ryan Staggard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Byrne Tauschke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryan Staggard was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cullerin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute Tommy Fortington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Staggard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zackery Munday in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Staggard saved Cullerin from getting behind. Zackery Munday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Staggard having to interfere. F.C.Ailsa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
