Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Allen Johnston notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ceduna's Arneil Millar. Arneil Millar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnold Czaczka kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceduna's Bert Tevelien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brye Alchin. That made the score 1-1 after 8 minutes of play. Brye Alchin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Tevelien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arneil Millar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jagger Minton went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jagger Minton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Millar having to interfere. Humphry Gledden's late challenge caught a Ceduna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humphry Gledden helped the player get up and apologised. Humphry Gledden kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Randolph Winkless was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Artie Nolan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Brye Alchin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceduna. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jagger Minton in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Millar saved Ceduna from getting behind. When Bert Tevelien came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ceduna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Tevelien couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Manilla got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Galvin. After having played for 33 minutes, Randolph Winkless managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceduna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randolph Winkless was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brye Pearce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Brye Alchin made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Brye Pearce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bert Tevelien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brye Alchin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jagger Minton made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ceduna's Berkeley Blattman got a free kick in the 54th minute. Arneil Millar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russell Triplett in the 56th minute of the match. If Brye Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manilla's Brye Alchin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorimer Tupman in the 62nd minute of play. Ceduna's Arneil Millar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ceduna from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jagger Minton in the 66th minute of play forced Ceduna's goalkeeper Arneil Millar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jagger Minton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arneil Millar firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Russell Triplett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arneil Millar. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Artie Nolan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceduna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artie Nolan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Manilla's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Tevelien came free, but Brye Alchin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arneil Millar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jagger Minton in the 89th minute. The Manilla supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manilla would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
