Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ian Connolly made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 7 minutes, Rick Coleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oxley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rick Coleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Connolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bryson Gavin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Colman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Brandie in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Oxley booed when Glenmartin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Salcedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as David Newton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthew Colman. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 24 played minutes Oxley got a freekick which was hit by Amos Moran. Kenneth Miels hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Rick Coleman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Colman having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Connolly during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Glenmartin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Connolly to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Brandie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Matthew Colman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Colman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Brandie went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Oxley's Benjamin Brandie got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benjamin Brandie made the kick off in the second half. Glenmartin's Matthew Colman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Coleman in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Glenmartin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Connolly to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Rick Coleman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Colman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Brandie in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Colman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rick Coleman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Matthew Colman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rick Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Colman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Brandie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Colman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Coleman in the 75th minute of play. Benjamin Brandie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Brandie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Oxley's Rick Coleman in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenmartin's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Coleman in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthew Colman saved Glenmartin from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, Oxley's Rick Coleman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Colman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Rick Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes, Oxley's Lewis Muddle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthew Colman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oxley reached it. When Benjamin Brandie came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Oxley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Brandie couldn't finish the play. Ian Connolly kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Oxley's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
