Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Irving Fitton made the kick off which started today's match. Brennan Wal kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Roger Jury sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Maslin skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Irving Fitton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creighton's supporters rose to their feet, but Irving Fitton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Howard Kennewell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnes Leach in the 9th minute of play forced Creighton's goalkeeper Carlos Maslin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irving Fitton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Howard Kennewell came out and tried to block the shot, but Irving Fitton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raleigh's goalkeeper Howard Kennewell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Creighton's Carlos Maslin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blake Bielski in the 21st minute of play. Adolph Leach kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Adolph Leach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Creighton's Jagger Conlin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Roger Jury was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Tony Collins made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Maslin. Creighton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Irving Fitton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Creighton's Carlos Maslin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Collins in the 38th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Collins to strike the kick off in the second half. Howard Kennewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Fitton in the 54th minute of the match. Creighton's supporters rose to their feet, but Brennan Wal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Barnes Bonham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Creighton fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Creighton's Irving Fitton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irving Fitton in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Howard Kennewell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Blake Bielski fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raleigh's protests and gave Blake Bielski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Raleigh getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Blake Bielski hit a great ball. When Irving Fitton came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Creighton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irving Fitton couldn't finish the play. Irving Fitton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Howard Kennewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Raleigh's zone, Irving Fitton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Howard Kennewell came out of the goal and Irving Fitton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Creighton's Irving Fitton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Howard Kennewell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Tony Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Barnes Leach fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raleigh's protests and gave Barnes Leach a yellow card for diving instead. Creighton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
