Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benney Thomas made the kick off which started today's match. FC Waldo's Archie Knevett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Waldo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Downsfield getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Benney Thomas hit a great ball. Max Aylwin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boyce Stageman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. James Greenbank was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 52 minutes, FC Waldo's James Greenbank got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Max Aylwin. Earle Mcwilliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Waldo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Boyd Quigley hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, James Greenbank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Aylwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Greenbank in the 67th minute. Eavan Kidman charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eavan Kidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eavan Kidman hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Boyce Stageman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Max Aylwin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Max Aylwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyce Stageman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Max Aylwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Stageman in the 94th minute of the match. Max Aylwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyce Stageman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded FC Waldo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Downsfield.
